Dr. Wajid Burad Fonz is a highly experienced sports medicine physician and orthopedic surgeon, recognized in both Mexico and the United States. Born in Yucatán, he earned his MD from Universidad del Mayab (1998–2003) and completed his residency in sports medicine at the Universidad Autónoma de Yucatán, finishing in 2008. He also holds advanced certification in musculoskeletal diagnostic and interventional ultrasound (2020) and is fluent in both Spanish and English.

With over two decades of practice, Dr. Burad has worked extensively with professional athletes and sports teams, including Tigres de Quintana Roo baseball and Pioneros de Quintana Roo basketball. Yodelys Novas is the Administrator of Cellular Hope Institute, overseeing all clinic operations and ensuring that day-to-day activities run smoothly.
